Mona and Kasey's San Francisco Engagement Session

This engagement session took Mona, Kasey, and me to Presidio of San Francisco as well as Baker Beach. Both a part of our National Park Service, which, in my opinion, is one of the greatest things we've done as a country. For Bay Area residents, having the Golden Gate Recreation Area and everything it has to offer right there at their fingertips, has to be an amazing thing. Hashtag blessed.

I could nerd out on my love for these parks all day. Another thing I could nerd out on is how fun and awesome Mona and Kasey were. "Mr. and Mrs. Potatohead", as they call each other, don't take themselves too seriously, but seriously love each other. We had fun while they played tug of war, made silly faces, and we drove around while they gave me incredible local food recommendations. Food and national parks. Two beautiful things shared with two beautiful people.

These are some of my favorite pictures from their San Francisco engagement session.

Danielle and Scott's Golden Gate Park Engagement Session

In their first email to me, Danielle mentioned that she loved that as a couple they are always able to make the best out of any given situation. They showed me that on my visit to San Francisco. They were super understanding when we relocated their engagement session from Twin Peaks when the city decided to fog us out up there. We pressed on and quickly figured out a backup plan and still got in some good session time. And they smiled and laughed the whole way through.

My wife and I are dog owners and we love our little guy more than we could ever say. One of the other things that drew me to them was when Danielle mentioned their "two precious babies," their dogs Oreo and Belle. Tragically, in the time since our session Danielle and Scott lost both of their sweet pups within weeks of each other. I cannot even imagine how that must feel. All I can say is that I am sending love their way and good vibes into the universe for them as they try to make the best of things.

Alisa and Eric's Downtown Phoenix Wedding

If you know me or follow my work, you may know I love to use my work to highlight locations my couples have chosen. They picked their venue for a reason; now let's flaunt it. Eric and Alisa chose to do everything from getting ready right down to the reception at the same location. And what a location. As soon as I walked in this building I knew we were going to have fun with it. Grace Lutheran Church has some amazing architectural details, history, and charm packed into every corner of the space.

Clearly, Alisa and Eric have good taste. I know this because of the space they chose, the fact that this allowed them to spend more time with the wonderful people they love...and that love of Thai food.

Here are some of my favorite images from their wedding in Phoenix.
